The free version works great and allows you to share to Kodi. NOTE: you do NOT need the Yatse Unlocker. In my experience, this works like Yatse: a signal is send via Miracast to the tv to start the Youtube app on your TV and load the link. On your Android device, you will see basic controls to play/pause while it plays on your tv. if your TV supports Miracast AND Youtube (built in app in your smart tv) and your Android phone supports Miracast, the Youtube app will show the miracast icon and you can send the video output to your tv screen.Of course this means your phone will get hot since it has to compress and send the full resolution with audio, live to your tv. It is an open standard and simply outputs your screen content via a direct connection to your tv (must also have wifi and Miracast support). If your TV has Miracast: Via Miracast (there are multiple names for this technique): most phones support Miracast since Android 4.x.You do not need to have a smart TV with Youtube app. Best because it simply sends the URL to Kodi. This is an absolute must-have app since it is an incredibly useful and easy to use remote.
